“Helseplattformen (‘The health platform’) is an ambitious, > 340 mEuro 6-year-in-the-making Electronic Health Record (EHR) procurement, configuration, and implementation project in Central Norway.
A key part of the configuration work is the development of clinical workflows, documentation templates, order sets, rules for clinical decision support and terms for use when querying the patient database.
The maintenance and update of the configuration builds will create a completely new set of knowledge management workflows. These will have to be enacted in collaboration with the clinicians that use the said front-end tools. We will present the motivation for, and preliminary design of these routines.”

“Based on local and international experiences from implementing electronic patient record systems, The Norwegian Medical Association wrote a declaration called “Factors needed to succeed with digitalization in health care.
The presentation will discuss some of these key points and whether they have been used in the Helseplattformen implementation project.”
